Wednesday September 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Sow little reap little, sow much reap much-
2-Your harvest is in direct proportion to what you sow-
3-You reap what you sow even if you don't know what you are sowing-
4-If you don't like your harvest, change you seed-
5-God made everything with a pattern and principle-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Resurrection life is not a grave situation-
I'VE LEARNED-We are not human beings going through a temporary spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience-
DID YOU KNOW-Some coins used in the American colonies before the Revolutionary war were Spanish dollars, which could be cut into pieces, or bits. Because two pieces equaled one quarter dollar, the expression "two bits" came into being as a name for twenty five cents-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When does a believer of Jesus receive the Holy Spirit?
2-What is the physical evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit?
3-What is "living a holy life"?
4-Is living a holy life the same as living a sinless life?
5-Are there different kinds of "speaking in tongues"?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What daughter was promised as a wife to David for slaying Goliath?
Yesterday's answer-Wife of Hadad, a king of Edom
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 11:1-4
Jesus Teaches About Prayer
1 One time Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his followers said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray as John taught his followers."

2 Jesus said to them, "When you pray, say:
'Father, may your name always be kept holy.

May your kingdom come.
3 Give us the food we need for each day.
4 Forgive us for our sins,
Because we forgive everyone who has done wrong to us.
And do not cause us to be tempted.'
