Thursday September 2, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY-
1-As long as you worry about your problems, God is not involved-
2-You will never rise above what you think of yourself-
3-Where there is trust, there is no fear-
4-When you no longer have confidence in someone, your trust is also lost-
5-God will magnify a person who magnifies his Word-
STRANGE THOUGHT-The green grass on the other side of the fence may be over a septic tank-
I'VE LEARNED-You either have a problem, live with one or are one-
DID YOU KNOW-Paedophgobia is a fear of children
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW-
1-Are angels created with the ability to make choices?
2-Were all heavenly angels created by God at one time?
3-What caused Satan, when he was an angel, to rebel against God since there was no outside evil influence as there is today?
4-Did Satan know what the consequences would be of his rebellion against God?
5-Were all angels in heaven created with a self will?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What was Esther's Hebrew name?
Yesterday's answer-Adah and Zillah
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 7:18-27
John Asks a Question
18 John's followers told him about all these things. He called for two of his followers
19 and sent them to the Lord to ask, "Are you the One who is to come, or should we wait for someone else?"

20 When the men came to Jesus, they said, "John the Baptist sent us to you with this question: 'Are you the One who is to come, or should we wait for someone else?' "

21 At that time, Jesus healed many people of their sicknesses, diseases, and evil spirits, and he gave sight to many blind people.

22 Then Jesus answered John's followers, "Go tell John what you saw and heard here. The blind can see, the crippled can walk, and people with skin diseases are healed. The deaf can hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is preached to the poor.

23 Those who do not stumble in their faith because of me are blessed!"

24 When John's followers left, Jesus began talking to the people about John: "What did you go out into the desert to see? A reed blown by the wind?

25 What did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, people who have fine clothes and much wealth live in kings' palaces.

26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, and I tell you, John is more than a prophet.

27 This was written about him:
'I will send my messenger ahead of you,
Who will prepare the way for you.'Malachi 3:1

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
