Tuesday September 14, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-The greatest sin is the sin of lost opportunity-
2-If we aren't going, we should be sending-
3-If people can be saved outside of Jesus, then God made a terrible mistake at Calvary-
4-Some people are lost by choice and some because they know no difference-
5-A brook would lose it's song if God removed the rocks-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Sooner or later, every show off will be shown up in a showdown-
I'VE LEARNED-There is no growth without change, there is no change without fear or loss, and there is no loss without pain-
DID YOU KNOW-A gynaephobic man fears women-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When something is spoken in tongues, should a translation or interpretation be given and what is the difference?
2-Did all the disciples or apostles speak in tongues
3-Did Jesus speak in tongues to anyone?
4-Was much New Testament speaking in tongues that of a known language that foreigners heard and understood?
5-Can Satan counterfeit the speaking in tongues?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What evil woman was associated with the church of Thyatira?
Yesterday's answer-Jenusha, wife of Uzziah
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 9:7-9
Herod Is Confused About Jesus
7 Herod, the governor, heard about all the things that were happening and was confused, because some people said, "John the Baptist has risen from the dead.
8 Others said, "Elijah has come to us." And still others said, "One of the prophets who lived long ago has risen from the dead."
9 Herod said, "I cut off John's head, so who is this man I hear such things about?" And Herod kept trying to see Jesus.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
