Sunday September 26, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-When God measures a man, he puts a tape around his heart and not his head-
2-Material things are like diet soda, they satisfy momentarily but do not nourish-
3-It is mind boggling that a fetus is considered so precious that we spare no expense to save it's life and yet so worthless that it can be legally killed and disposed of-
4-To live without God is to live without hope-
5-You can only receive what you have been given-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Winners don't ever quit even when they lose for losing is a part of winning-
I'VE LEARNED-You can never get rid of your temper by losing it-
DID YOU KNOW-The term "potty" comes from the pint sized chamber pot built for children-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Scripture says that God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. Is that in the physical or spiritual realm?
2-Is all sin done through temptation?
3-Is there a difference between temptation and opportunity?
4-Can you be tempted to do good?
5-Scripture says that Jesus was tempted to sin but was he ever enticed to do so?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What servant woman was ordered out of the house by Sarah?
Yesterday's answer-Maachah
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 10:21-24
Jesus Prays to the Father
21 Then Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the people who are wise and smart. But you have shown them to those who are like little children. Yes, Father, this is what you really wanted.

22 "My Father has given me all things. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father. And no one knows who the Father is, except the Son and those whom the Son chooses to tell."

23 Then Jesus turned to his followers and said privately, "You are blessed to see what you now see. 24 I tell you, many prophets and kings wanted to see what you now see, but they did not, and they wanted to hear what you now hear, but they did not."

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
