Wednesday September 22, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Whatever is in your heart, eventually comes out your mouth-
2-Joy is not found in your circumstances, it is found in Jesus-
3-Doing the right thing with the wrong motive is wrong-
4-God is looking for a pure heart, not a perfect performance-
5-Don't grieve over what has to go, rejoice over what is coming-
STRANGE THOUGHT-No man is so great as mankind-
I'VE LEARNED-Love is like a rose, you have to see past the thorns to appreciate their beauty-
DID YOU KNOW-According to German legend, the "Forget me not" flower gets its name from the last words of a knight, who was drowned while trying to pick some from the riverside for his lady-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Do the fallen angels ever long for their old relationship with God?
2-Is there any redemption available for fallen angels?
3-Did the angels who rebelled against God have full knowledge and understanding of what they were doing?
4-Are Spirit filled people who chose to turn away from and reject God in the same position as fallen angels?
5-Spirit filled people are "perfect" in what way?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What prophet had a daughter named Lo-ruhamah?
Yesterday's answer-Puah and Shiprah, the midwives
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 10:1-12
Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-Two
1 After this, the Lord chose seventy-two others and sent them out in pairs ahead of him into every town and place where he planned to go. 2 He said to them, "There are a great many people to harvest, but there are only a few workers. So pray to God, who owns the harvest, that he will send more workers to help gather his harvest. 3 Go now, but listen! I am sending you out like sheep among wolves.4 Don't carry a purse, a bag, or sandals, and don't waste time talking with people on the road.5 Before you go into a house, say, 'Peace be with this house.' 6 If peace-loving people live there, your blessing of peace will stay with them, but if not, then your blessing will come back to you. 7 Stay in the same house, eating and drinking what the people there give you. A worker should be given his pay. Don't move from house to house. 8 If you go into a town and the people welcome you, eat what they give you.9 Heal the sick who live there, and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'10 But if you go into a town, and the people don't welcome you, then go into the streets and say,11 'Even the dirt from your town that sticks to our feet we wipe off against you. But remember that the kingdom of God is near.' 12 I tell you, on the Judgment Day it will be better for the people of Sodom than for the people of that town.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
