Thursday September 30, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-All sorts of things are possible, but not all possible things are equally probable-
2-There is no Christianity without the resurrection-
3-The key to a good marriage is not communication but compromise-
4-To help yourself, you have to be yourself-
5-You need to learn from your past, not be a prisoner to it-
STRANGE THOUGHT-The golfers diet is to live on greens as much as possible-
I'VE LEARNED-You cannot love God without surrendering to Him-
DID YOU KNOW-Ham radio operators coined the word ham from the expression"ham fisted operators," a term used to describe early radio users who sent Morse code by pounding their fists-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Where did Adam and Eve go after leaving the Garden of Eden?
2-Did God destroy the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve left it?
3-How long did Adam and Eve live in the garden of Eden before having to leave it?
4-Would God have left any traces of the Garden of Eden for later generations to find it's location?
5-When God made the Garden of Eden, was the rest of the earth all created also?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was the mother of Huz, Buz and Pildash?
Yesterday's answer-Merab
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 11:5-13
Continue to Ask
5 Then Jesus said to them, "Suppose one of you went to your friend's house at midnight and said to him, 'Friend, loan me three loaves of bread. 6 A friend of mine has come into town to visit me, but I have nothing for him to eat.'7 Your friend inside the house answers, 'Don't bother me! The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything.'8 I tell you, if friendship is not enough to make him get up to give you the bread, your boldness will make him get up and give you whatever you need.9 So I tell you, ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you.10 Yes, everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find. And everyone who knocks will have the door opened. 11 If your children ask for a fish, which of you would give them a snake instead? 12 Or, if your children ask for an egg, would you give them a scorpion? 13 Even though you are bad, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more your heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
