Friday October 17, 2008 thought for the day

THE ELECTRIC CAR IS ALREADY HERE!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-When the world pushes you to your knees, you are in the perfect position to pray-
2-The phrase "why worry when you can pray" should be "why worry when you can trust God"
3-Praying isn't telling God how worried, unhappy or bad your situation is but telling God how you will believe and trust him to work things out-
4-If a million people say a foolish dthing, it is still a foolish thing-
5-Wise men talk because they have something to say. fools talk because they have to say something-

Strange thought-good judgement comes from experience and much of that comes from bad judgement-

I've learned-patience is the ability to keep your motor idling while you feel like stripping your gears-

5 things I want to know
1-How could Egypt have had such a more advanced culture than Israel in bible times?
2-Why was Egypt not a nomadic society like Israel in old/new testament times?
3-Why did pharaoh give Jacob's family their own separate land in which to live?
4-Why didn't the Israelites return to Israel from Egypt after the 7 year famine was over?
5-Why would pharaoh's daughter rescue a Hebrew baby from the water?

Scripture for today-Live together in harmony, live together in love, as though you had only one mind and one spirit between you … in humility think more of each other than you do of yourselves. Philippians 2:3-4

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
