Monday October 20, 2008 thought for the day

WATCH OUT FOR THOSE FINGERS!
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Forgiveness is an attribute of the strong-
2-Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness-
3-Sometimes our pain, problem or difficulty is part of a plan we do not understand-
4-Personal sacrifice is sometimes necessary for God's glory to be revealed-
5-When God does not do what we want we often erroneously conclude he does not love us-

Strange thought-if a rabbit's foot is lucky, what happened tot he rabbit?

I've learned-it is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt-

5 things I want to know
1-In the Exodus, how could a desert oasis be large enough for nearly 2 million people and their animals?
2-How were the Israelites able to defend themselves in the 40 years in the wilderness?
3-At MT. Sinai, why did the Israelites chose a golden calf to worship rather than some other animal?
4-When the Israelites left Egypt, why did they want to take the Egyptian gold, silver and jewelry?
5-How long was Moses on MT. Sinai getting god's commandments?

Scripture for today-Wisdom … is peace-loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others … James 3:17 (LB)
I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
