Thursday October 23, 2008 thought for the day

HE DIDN'T STOP SOON ENOUGH
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-God is not looking for volunteers, he wants servants-
2-It is easy to hate people and hard to love them-
3-Circumstances always have a beginning and an ending-
4-Salvation is more than just getting it, it is also trusting in it-
5-Courage is managing fear-

Strange thought-an oak tree is a nut that held it's ground-

I've learned-your temper is like a fire, it gets very destructive when it gets out of control-

5 things I want to know
1-Was the conquest of the promised land by the Israelites ever completed? If so, when? If not, why not?
2-What were Gideon's torches made of?
3-What were the places called "high places" in the old testament?
4-What was a Nazarite vow and how long did it last?
5-Was cutting his hair the only Nazarite vow that Samson broke?

Scripture for today-He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls Proverbs 25:28

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
