Wednesday September 16, 2009 thought for the day

A PRETTY FALL SCENE
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-It is not enough to keep the bad stuff out, we also have to let the good stuff in-
2-Rather than store up the sour, store up the sweet-
3-Love does not ask someone to do what is wrong-
4-Love never celebrates misfortune-
5-Don't force what is wrong to be right-
STRANGE THOUGHT-The Lord prepares a table for his children but too many of them are on a diet-
I'VE LEARNED-A little love can change a life-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Had Jesus always been God's "son", even before his life on earth?
2-What happened to the guards at Jesus' tomb after his resurrection?
3-Did the Jewish or Roman authorities ever learn that Jesus was resurrected?
4-Why did Jesus choose to reveal himself first to Mary after his resurrection?
5-Why was Jesus called "the Lamb of God"?
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALMS 72:12-20
12 He will help the poor when they cry out and will save the needy when no one else will help.
13 He will be kind to the weak and poor, and he will save their lives.
14 He will save them, from cruel people who try to hurt them, because their lives are precious to him.
15 Long live the king! Let him receive gold from Sheba. Let people always pray to him and bless him all day long.
16 Let the fields grow plenty of grain and the hills be covered with crops.
17 Let the king be famous forever; let him be remembered as long as the sun shines. Let the nations be blessed because of him, and may they all bless him.
18 Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does such miracles.
19 Praise his glorious name forever. Let his glory fill the whole world. Amen and amen.
20 This ends the prayers of David son of Jesse.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
