Monday June 14, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-If you can't find happiness along the way, you won't find it at the end of the road-
2-You must have the right to choose, even to choose wrong, if you are ever to learn to choose right-
3-When dreaming of the future, don't forget a little bit arrives each day-
4-Every action of our lives touches some chord that will vibrate in eternity-
5-Lost time is never found again-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Generally, helpful hints aren't-
I'VE LEARNED-It depends on who you are following that determines where you are going-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is Israel still God's chosen people even though they don't recognize Jesus as the messiah?
2-Will the Jews ever again lose their homeland?
3-Does "Whatsoever a man soweth will he also reap!" also apply to nations?
4-Is man's wickedness more evil today than in the days of Noah?
5-What country will the anti Christ come from?
DID YOU KNOW-One in every four Americans have appeared on television-
BIBLE TRIVIA-What prophet did God tell to shave his head and beard?
Yesterday's answer-Priests
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 12:28-34
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard Jesus arguing with the Sadducees. Seeing that Jesus gave good answers to their questions, he asked Jesus, "Which of the commands is most important?"
29 Jesus answered, "The most important command is this: Listen, people of Israel! The Lord our God is the only Lord.
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.
31 The second command is this: Love your neighbor as you love yourself. There are no commands more important than these"
32 The man answered, "That was a good answer, Teacher. You were right when you said God is the the only Lord and there is no other God besides him.
33 One must love God with all his heart, all his mind, and all his strength. And one must love his neighbor as he loves himself. These commands are more important than all the animals and sacrifices we offer to God."
34 When Jesus saw that the man answered him wisely, Jesus said to him, "You are close to the kingdom of God." And after that, no one was brave enough to ask Jesus any more questions.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
