Wednesday June 2, 2010 thought for the day

FREEDOM
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-My life may not be easy, but I must go on-
2-He who kneels to pray will not stumble-
3-Love that goes upward is worship, love that goes outward is affection, love that stoops is grace-
4-Romance is seeking perfection while love is forgiving faults-
5-Money doesn't change people, it only unmasks them-
STRANGE THOUGHT-The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working the moment you get up in the morning and doesn't stop until you get to work-
I'VE LEARNED-It often seems in life that there are more questions than answers. The truth is that there are more answers than questions. It just seems the other way around.
DID YOU KNOW-Elvis failed his music class in school-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is tithing self denial or penance?
2-Is much church attendance legalistic behavior?
3-Should we try to witness to everyone, even those who are not interested?
4-Does disobedience cause backsliding?
5-Is the role of conscience just to make you feel guilty?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who is the only man mentioned in the Bible as being naturally bald?
Yesterday's answer-Elijah
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 10:32-34
32 As Jesus and the people with him were on the road to Jerusalem, he was leading the way. His followers were amazed, but others in the crowd who followed were afraid. Again Jesus took the twelve apostles aside and began to tell them what was about to happen in Jerusalem.
33 He said, 'Look, we are going to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be turned over to the leading priests and the teachers of the law. They will say that he must die, and they will
turn him over to the non Jewish people,
34 who will laugh at him and spit on him. They will beat him with whips and crucify him. But on the third day, he will rise to life again."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
