Monday June 7, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Forgiveness does not change the past but it does enlarge the future-
2-If you want to thoroughly know something, teach it to others-
3-Tough love is doing what is right not what is easy-
4-Experience is being able to say you don't know in such a way that people don't know that you don't know-
5-Don't find a fault, find a remedy-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper-
I'VE LEARNED-Life is short even when you live a long time-
DID YOU KNOW-There is about $50 million worth of Monopoly money printed in a year-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What does it mean "we shall become like Christ"?
2-Can you lose your eternal heritage?
3-Can God ever cancel his "will" for your life?
4-Should adults be baptized again if they were baptized as a child?
5-Did Jesus "need" to be baptized?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What apostle purified himself, along with four other men, by shaving in his head?
Yesterday's answer-Absalom
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 11:11-14
11 Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the Temple. After he had looked at everything, since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve apostles.
12 The next day as Jesus was leaving Bethany, he became hungry.
13 Seeing a fig tree in leaf from far away, he went to see if it had any figs on it. But he found no figs, only leaves, because it was not the right season for figs.
14 So Jesus said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And Jesus' followers heard him say this.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
