Saturday June 5, 2010 thought for the day

FREEDOM
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-People who dislike their work are slaves, no matter how much they make-
2-The trouble with life is that you are half way through it before you realize it is one of those do it yourself deals-
3-When you look at the world through rose colored glassed, you become rose colored yourself-
4-In the long run, a pessimist may be right, but an optimist has a better time on the trip-
5-A friend is someone before whom I may think aloud and not be criticized-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Under the sea, why is it always the starfish that gets to be the sheriff?
I'VE LEARNED-If you keep on saying things are going to be bad, you have a good chance of being a prophet-
DID YOU KNOW-According to Elvis's autopsy, he had ten different drugs in his body at the time of his death-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did Jesus weep over Lazarus being dead?
2-Does time heal all wounds?
3-Do Christian today really believe in prayer anymore?
4-Has human ability and reasoning replaced prayer today?
5-Are all believers priests?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who is mentioned first in the Bible as being very hairy?
Yesterday's answer-Nebuchadnezzar
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 10:46-52
46 Then they came to the town of Jericho. As Jesus was leaving there with this followers and a great many people, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus son of Timaeus was sitting by the road.
47 When he heard that Jesus from Nazareth was walking by, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
48 Many people warned the blind man to be quiet, but he shouted even more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
49 Jesus stopped and said, "Tell the man to come here." So they called the blind man, saying "Cheer up! Get to your feet. Jesus is calling you."
50 The blind man jumped up, left his coat there, and went to Jesus.
51 Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man answered, "Teacher, I want to see."
52 Jesus said, "Go, you are healed because you believed." At once the man could see, and he followed Jesus on the road.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
