Wednesday June 30, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Standing alone is not based on our reaction to people but on our love for God-
2-The soul would have no rainbows if the eye had no tears-
3-Without love there is no joy-
4-Love is the little things we do for each other-
5-God's last name is not dammit-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Good, better, best, never let it rest until good is better and better is best-
I'VE LEARNED-Dieting is the penalty for exceeding the feed limit-
DID YOU KNOW-Disney's Goofy actually started life as "Dippy Dawg," a combination of both Goofy and Pluto-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Do the Jews today make blood sacrifices for an atonement for sin. If not, why not?
2-If Satan was a heavenly being (angel), how could pride have entered him?
3-Do angels today have the ability to make choices between good and evil?
4-Why does it take a "crises" experience to cause us to seek God?
5-Were any of Jesus' disciples or followers wealthy people?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What short man ran to see Jesus but could not because of his height?
Yesterday's answer-Gehazi
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 14:53-61
53 The people who arrested Jesus led him to the house of the high priest, where all the leading priests, the older Jewish leaders, and the teachers of the law were gathered.
54 Peter followed far behind and entered the courtyard of the high priest's house. There he sat with the guards, warming himself by the fire.
55 The leading priests and the whole Jewish council tried to find something that Jesus had done wrong so they could kill him. But the council could find no proof of anything.
56 Many people came and told false things about him, but all said different things, non of them agreed.
57 Then some people stood up and lied about Jesus, saying,
58 "We heard this man say, 'I will destroy this Temple that people made. And three days later I will build another temple not made by people.' "
59 But even the things these people said did not agree.
60 Then the high priest stood before them and asked Jesus, "Aren't you going to answer? Don't you have something to say about their charges against you?"
61 But Jesus said nothing" he did not answer.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
