Saturday April 11, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUHGTS FOR THE DAY
1-A heritage is what you give to someone, a legacy is something you build into someone-
2-Accept reality, hope for the divine-
3-You won't really appreciate good health until you lose it-
4-God is not a magic potion to get us out of life's difficulties-
5-"I am allowed to do all things, but all things are not good for me to do.  A am allowed to do all things, but I will not let anything make me it's slave."  While this refers to behavior, it also applies to eating.  While you can eat anything, you should not eat everything-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Remember to treasure your friends for they are the most valuable antiques you will ever have-

I'VE LEARNED-You may be deceived if you trust too much but you will live in torment if you don't trust enough-

DID YOU KNOW-Anthropophagite eats people-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How would we believe if we believed that God knows and cares about our situation?
2-What did Jesus mean when he said "No one knows the son except the father and no one knows the father except the son?"
3-How many siblings did Jesus have?
4-What is life without love?
5-What is the number one fear that people have?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What was the Bug Bible?
Today's answer      Coverdale's Bible (1535) which has this translation for Psalm 91:5-"Thou shalt not need to be afraid for any bugs by night." (The King James Version has "terror by night.")

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY   Mark 14:32-35
32 Jesus and his followers went to a place called Gethsemane. He said to them, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him, and he began to be very sad and troubled. 34 He said to them, “My heart is full of sorrow, to the point of death. Stay here and watch.”
35 After walking a little farther away from them, Jesus fell to the ground and prayed that, if possible, he would not have this time of suffering. 36 He prayed, “Abba, Father! You can do all things. Take away this cup of suffering. But do what you want, not what I want.”

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying manFather, we have been given a trust and desire to prove ourselves faithful in all areas of our lives as evidenced in our responsibilities carried out here on earth. Being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us involves sacrifice, humbleness, repentance, and obedience which does not come easily, but is nevertheless required. As we walk steadily with You and prayerfully apply Scriptural principles we will be found faithful. We look to You in prayer coming to You through Jesus Christ our Lord in whose name we pray. Amen.

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING. BE A FRIEND. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE. TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND!
