Thursday April 16, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Learn to show cheerfulness, even when you don't feel like it-
2-Remember, overnight success takes about fifteen years-
3-Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them-
4-Dishonest communication hinders relationships-
5-If we lie to others we will begin to deceive ourselves-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Those who get too big for their britches will be exposed in the end-

I'VE LEARNED-There is a difference between being patient with someone and wasting your time-

DID YOU KNOW-The two ends of a magnet are called poles-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Should a Christian's life be a living sacrament?
2-Are true Christians only those whom God has chosen?
3-How does "the fear of the Lord" be the beginning of wisdom?
4-How is faith related to certainty?
5-Is it possible that Jesus didn't actually say a number of things ascribed to him since all the gospels were written 50-100 years later than his lifetime?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What is the place of the skull?
Today's answer    Golgotha

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Mark 14:57-61
57 Then some people stood up and lied about Jesus, saying, 58 “We heard this man say, ‘I will destroy this Temple that people made. And three days later, I will build another Temple not made by people.’” 59 But even the things these people said did not agree.
60 Then the high priest stood before them and asked Jesus, “Aren’t you going to answer? Don’t you have something to say about their charges against you?” 61 But Jesus said nothing; he did not answer.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying manFather, like a nurturing eagle, You cover us with Your feathers so that we find refuge under Your protective wings. As we live in daily communion with You we are protected from the snare of the enemy. Therefore we need not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Because we have made the Lord Most High our dwelling You have commanded the angels to guard us in all our ways. You will be with us in trouble, You will deliver us and honor us. What greater blessing could we want than to know we are under Your protective, loving care. Thank You, Father, for being all that we need here and now, and providing for our hereafter. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
