Thursday August 27, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The question is not really how do I make a living but how do I make a life-
2-Our work should be an extension of our integrity-
3-It is not how I spend my time but how do I spend eternity-
4-Someday is not the eighth day of the week-
5-If you want different you must do different-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of your act-

I'VE LEARNED-When you are hugging a child, be the last one to let go-

DID YOU KNOW-The correct response to the Irish greeting "Top of the morning to you" is, "And the rest of the day to yourself."

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did Moses' wife tell him he was a "bridegroom of blood" to her?
2-Since Moses seemed to be God's spokesman to pharaoh, had God healed him of his stuttering?
3-Why were the specific ten plagues chosen by God to be the ones to cover the Egyptians?
4-Why did it take pharaoh so long to relent and let the Israelites go?
5-Why is there no mention of the pyramids in Exodus?

BIBLE TRIVIA-
Who said  "Master, behold the fig tree which thou cursed is withered away"?
Answer for today     Peter     Mark 11:21

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Luke 8:40-42
40 When Jesus got back to Galilee, a crowd welcomed him, because everyone was waiting for him. 41 A man named Jairus, a leader of the synagogue, came to Jesus and fell at his feet, begging him to come to his house. 42 Jairus’ only daughter, about twelve years old, was dying.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, the alarms have rung loud and clear since Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden of Eden. The battle lines were drawn between the hosts of heaven and hell early on. We thank You for the spiritual armor listed in Ephesians 6 that equips us for battle, both offensive and defensive, as the flaming arrows from the devil are hurled in our direction. We thank You for Jesus, the captain of the spiritual army, who sounds the warning throughout Scripture and through godly and courageous messengers of the gospel. Keep our ears tuned, our minds alert, and our hearts fully surrendered and trusting in You. May our words be in accordance with Scripture and our lives reflect that which we speak so that we consistently “sound a clear call” to follow Your commands and honor You above all others. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
