THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Real faith requires that we not only seek God for relief but that we also rely on him when we need endurance-

2-The Christians hope is not the absence of trauma but that we will be aware of God's presence when trouble comes-

3-The greatest rewards in our walk with God often come during what we perceive to be the worst circumstances of our lives-

4-The question is not will God succeed in delivering us from our difficult times but rather will we trust him until he does-

5-Contending with a foolish person is a no win situation-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

The word typewriter is the longest word that can be made using the letters on only one row of the keyboard-

The trouble with wanting more is that it never stops-

1-How are Christians to be "separate" from the world?

2-What did Jesus' baptism have to do with his ministry?

3-Why are the Jews God's chosen people?

4-Why did God choose the time he did to send Jesus?

5-What about the salvation of the millions of people alive around the world when Jesus was alive?  Were they saved or lost?

Isaiah 40:29-31    He gives strength to those who are tired
    And more power to those who are weak.
³⁰ Even children become tired and need to rest,
    And young people trip and fall.
³¹ But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.
They will rise up as an eagle in the sky;
    They will run and not need rest;
    They will walk and not become tired.
