Sunday November 22, 2009 thought for the day

AN INTERESTING PHOTO

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Faith does not solve problems, it masters them-
2-Thanksgiving-going from plea to praise-
3-If you let God guide, he will provide-
4-The more successful you become, the more detractors you will have-
5-We receive Jesus by faith, but we live for him by being and doing-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If ignorance is bliss then I must be the happiest thingamjig in the watchamacallit-

I'VE LEARNED-The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When an angel told Joseph to take his family and leave Bethlehem, why didn't he have them return to Nazareth?
2-Since the Holy Family left Bethlehem at night, how did they travel and were they alone or with other travelers?
3-How long did the Holy Family live in Egypt before returning to Nazareth?
4-How was Joseph convinced that Mary's son Jesus was by the Holy Spirit and not another man?
5-Which angel told Joseph to take his family to Egypt?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was the first disciple chosen by Jesus?
Yesterday's answer-Othniel (Judges 3:9)

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 104:1-9
1 My whole being, praise the Lord. Lord my God, you are very great. You are clothed with glory and majesty;
2 you wear light like a robe. You stretch out the skies like a tent.
3 You build your room above the clouds. You make the clouds your chariot, and you ride on the wings of the wind.
4 You make the winds your messengers, and flames of fire are your servants.
5 You build the earth on its foundations so it can never be moved.
6 You covered the earth with oceans; the water was above the mountains.
7 But at your command, the water rushed away. When you thundered your orders, it hurried away.
8 The mountains rose, the valleys sank. The water went to the places you made for it.
9 You set borders for the seas that they cannot cross, so water will never cover the earth again.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
