Thursday November 19, 2009 thought for the day

A PRETTY SUNSET

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Only when I have forgiven the person who hurt me can I be truly free-
2-If you do not stand firm in your faith you will not stand at all-
3-I don't want to be stirred, I want to be changed-
4-Servants of love---people who are there when they are rally needed-
5-Confession should only go as far as the sin has gone-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Wrinkles are something everyone else has. You have character lines-

I'VE LEARNED-We build a new tomorrow on the plans we make today-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Jesus's earthly grandparents ever meet him?
2-Why were the 3 gifts chosen by the magi to give to Jesus?
3-Wouldn't Joseph and Mary have been shocked by the magi visit?
4-Wouldn't the magi's arrival in Bethlehem have caused quite a stir in the city?
5-What would Joseph and Mary's friends and neighbors have thought about the magi visit?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was the first single man to be exiled?
Yesterday's answer-Rachel (Genesis 29:9)

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 103:1-12
1 My whole being, praise the Lord; all my being, praise his holy name.
2 My whole being, praise the Lord and do not forget all his kindnesses.
3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
4 He saves my life from the grave and loads me with love and mercy.
5 He satisfies me with good things and makes me young again, like the eagle.
6 The Lord does what is right and fair for all who are wronged by others.
7 He showed his ways to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.
8 The Lord shows mercy and is kind. He does not become angry quickly, and he has great love.
9 He will not always accuse us and he will not be angry forever.
10 He has not punished us as our sins should be punished; he has not repaid us for the evil we have done.
11 As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is his love for those who respect him.
12 He has taken our sins away from us as far as the east is from the west.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
