Thursday November 26, 2009 thought for the day

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-The hardest person to love is the one who needs your love the most-
2-A man is only as good as his word-
3-Faith is not intimidated by mountains-
4-Don't trade something crucial for something pleasing-
5-No place in the New Testament was Jesus ever asked for forgiveness, he always offered it-

STRANGE THOUGHT-When you are doing nothing you never know when you are done-

I'VE LEARNED-Faith always appears ridiculous to the skeptic-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What are angels primary function?
2-Did Herod the Great ever know that baby Jesus had escaped to Egypt?
3-Would the residents of Bethlehem have known it was baby Jesus that Herod the Great was trying to kill?
4-Would the residents of Bethlehem have known who their special resident was (baby Jesus)?
5-Who were the Samaritans and why did the Jews dislike them so much?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who wore the first ring?
Yesterday's answer-Melchizedek (Genesis 14:18)

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 105:1-7
1 Give thanks to the Lord and pray to him. Tell the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to him; sing praises to him. Tell about all his miracles.
3 Be glad that you are his; let those who seek the Lord be happy.
4 Depend on the Lord and his strength; always go to him for help.
5 Remember the miracles he has done; remember his wonders and his decisions.
6 Your are descendants of his servant Abraham, the children of Jacob, his chosen people.
7 He is the Lord our God. His laws are for all the world.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
