Friday October 28, 2011 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-If you really believed that Jesus is coming soon how differently would you live?
2-A victorious Christian life is only lived in humility and integrity-
3-Husband and wives, confess your faults to one another-
4-Jesus did no wrong yet still he went to the cross-
5-When you are on the mountain top, don't forget who you are-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Fill your library before you fill your garage-
I'VE LEARNED-It is better to walk with God in the dark than to go alone in the light-
DID YOU KNOW-Five thousandths of a millimeter is the tolerance of accuracy at the Logo mold factories-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can evil spirits be seen or just their actions?
2-In the gospel of Mark, Jesus never asked anyone he heals to follow him as a disciple, but did they?
3-Why did Jesus ask the man he healed in Mark to tell his family since he usually told those he healed to not tell anyone?
4-Do our sinful desires come from evil spirits in us or from our sinful nature?
5-Would we today really know if an angel appeared to us?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What two men were to instruct the people involved in the construction of the tabernacle?
Yesterday's answer-The Comforter John 14:26
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY 1 Corinthians 9:8-14
8 I do not say this by human authority; God's law also says the same thing.9 It is written in the law of Moses: "When an ox is working in the grain, do not cover its mouth to keep it from eating." When God said this, was he thinking only about oxen? No.10 He was really talking about us. Yes, that Scripture was written for us, because it goes on to say: "The one who plows and the one who works in the grain should hope to get some of the grain for their work." 11 Since we planted spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we should harvest material things? 12 If others have the right to get something from you, surely we have this right, too. But we do not use it. No, we put up with everything ourselves so that we will not keep anyone from believing the Good News of Christ.13 Surely you know that those who work at the Temple get their food from the Temple, and those who serve at the altar get part of what is offered at the altar.14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who tell the Good News should get their living from this good work.
PRAYER FOR TODAY

Praying man Father, we thank You for the great Shepherd of the sheep, who equips us with everything good for doing His will, and who works in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. We give Him glory forever and ever. Amen. (See Hebrews 13:20,21).

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!!!
