Friday August 29, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Doing something for God usually involves other people-
2-Great faith is demonstrated by great trust-
3-You can't break the last 9 commandments without breaking the first one-
4-So often, even Christians have the problem of dealing with the symptom and not the cause-
5-"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If you go through life with a clenched first, no one can put anything in it-

I'VE LEARNED-The probability of meeting someone you know increases dramatically when you
are with someone you don't want to be seen with-

DID YOU KNOW-Abraham Lincoln had a wart on his face-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Should the Christian have any fear of death?
2-Was there any change in the relationship of Isaac and Abraham after the mountain testing?
3-How is the Christian to respond when life is unfair?
4-Is there any justifiable excuse for making poor choices?
5-Was Jacob a "mama's boy"?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who besides Isaiah, saw the Lord sitting upon his throne?
Answer for today   The prophet Micaiah  2 Chronicles 18:18

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Revelation 4:8
“Holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty.
He was he is and he is coming.”

PRAYER FOR TODAY

It would seem that we would become orphans of the faith when Jesus departed from the earth and ascended into heaven. But You did not leave us comfortless or without guidance. Instead Your Holy Spirit empowers us so that we can effectively proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through Scriptural teaching and through our godly example. Help us to be faithful in our walk and witness in the mission field you’ve appointed us to.  In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

SMILE LAUGH FORGIVE BELIEVE AND LOVE OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
