Thursday August 14, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY-
1-If you don't learn how to love yourself, how do you expect others to love you-
2-Genuine friendship and love given without an ulterior motive will only come back to bless you-
3-It is not the load that weighs us down, it is the way we carry it-
4-Happiness will never came to those who fail to appreciate what they already have-
5-Being honest may not get you a lot of friends but it will always get you the right ones-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If you realize you aren't so wise today as you thought you were yesterday, you are wiser today-

I'VE LEARNED-You never achieve the goals you never set-

DID YOU KNOW-George Washington's false teeth were made of whale bone-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Prior to Cain and Abel's sacrifice to God, did Cain have a bad or indifferent attitude toward God?
2-Are there many different paths to God or only one right way?
3-Will you find God if you sincerely seek him?
4-Why did Cain feel that he should have received God's favor on his offerings?
5-Would it have been better for Cain to have made no offering to God than an unacceptable one?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Where was Paul when an angel assured him that he would stand trial before Caesar?

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thankful manFather, we join the apostle Paul in declaring, “Thanks be to God! You give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Though His crucifixion and resurrection took place over 2000 years ago the victory that resulted in Christ’s resurrection echoes throughout the ages. The resurrection power provided for believers has not diminished with time, but is proven daily in the lives of believers who live victorious, overcoming lives. We do this by looking daily to Jesus the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and now sits at Your right hand. Someday we’ll experience 100% victory over our enemy when we meet Jesus face to face. Keep us faithful till then. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
