Thursday August 21, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Self worth is not the sum of what we do-
2-Let Jesus use you without consulting you-
3-The end product of too many why questions is doubt-
4-Forgiveness is not the same as forgetting-
5-Someone you know needs your blessing today-
STRANGE THOUGHT-The elements sodium, potassium, and calcium are combined
in almost the same proportions in our veins as in sea water-
I'VE LEARNED-Life sometimes gives you a second chance-
DID YOU KNOW-Andrew Jackson was the only president to believe that the world is flat-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What kind of life did Cain have after his banishment by God?
2-Did Cain have any family after his banishment and if so, where did his wife come from-
3-How was Cain to live after his banishment since all he knew how to do was cultivate the
Land and it would no longer bear crops for him?
4-Did Cain ever turn to God after his banishment and accept God's forgiveness?
5-Did Abel have a wife and family at the time of his murder, and if so what happened to them?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What prophet saw the Lord's angel riding on a red horse?
Answer for today   Zechariah 1:8
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY      Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 Now, everything has been heard,
So I give my final advice:
Honor God and obey his commands,
Because this is all people must do.
14 God will judge everything,
Even what is done in secret,
The good and the evil.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful manFather, we read where Joshua placed a stone under the oak tree to serve as a witness against anyone who heard Your words spoken through godly leaders and yet chose to deny You. The stone under the oak tree in Schechem was witness to those who remained true or those who denied the faith. The stone was unchanging from day to day, year to year just as our promises should be. It was an inanimate witness unable to speak, but today we have living witnesses within our family, community, and church that can either speak up that we are people of truth or deny our claims. Our words will be demonstrated in our attitudes and actions and we will impact these eye witnesses in regard to their eternal future. No matter the consequence in this life, we never want to deny You in what we say or do. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
