HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-In order to have strong outward relationships you must first have strong inward relationships-
2-You can't harvest friends if you don't plant seeds of friendship-
3-Everyday, look for someone to encourage-
4-If you become a good listener, you'll never lack for friends-
5-If you learn the art of listening with all your senses, you'll never lack for friends-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Heck-the place where people go if they don't believe in gosh-

I'VE LEARNED-You never miss money given to help meet a need in someone's life-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Who were the two men walking to Emmaus that Jesus appeared to?
2-Did the disciples receive from Jesus the ability to forgive people's sins?
3-How many times did Jesus appear to one or more disciples after his resurrection?
4-Where was the resurrected Jesus in between times of appearing to disciples and others?
5-Why did Jesus ask Peter three times if he loved him and to feed his sheep?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Why did the people complain when Jesus healed a woman who had been stooped for eighteen years?
Answer for today     he healed her on the Sabbath   Luke 13:11-13

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Mark 4:1-9
Again Jesus began teaching by the lake. A great crowd gathered around him, so he sat down in a boat near the shore. All the people stayed on the shore close to the water. Jesus taught them many things, using stories. He said, “Listen! A farmer went out to plant his seed. While he was planting, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Some seed fell on rocky ground where there wasn’t much dirt. That seed grew very fast, because the ground was not deep. But when the sun rose, the plants dried up because they did not have deep roots. Some other seed fell among thorny weeds, which grew and choked the good plants. So those plants did not produce a crop. Some other seed fell on good ground and began to grow. It got taller and produced a crop. Some plants made thirty times more, some made sixty times more, and some made a hundred times more.”
Then Jesus said, “Let those with ears use them and listen!”

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, You created us to be people who function and thrive by light.  Your placement of the sun by day and the moon by night is the way You provide for our physical needs enabling us to see clearly as we carry out our multitude of duties.  As important as light is for the eyes to see, it is even more essential that the eyes of our heart see the magnificent light of Your glory.  As we walk in Your light we will be able to discern that which is evil from that which is good.  We know that goodness cannot partner with wickedness for there is no harmony between You and the devil so help us to be consistent not only in what we speak but the manner in which we live so that the fruit of light is evident in all we do.  In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING. BE A FRIEND. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE. TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND!
