Wednesday February 4, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Forgiveness doesn't excuse someone's behavior.  It prevents their behavior from destroying your heart-
2-Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous-
3-Your outlook determines your outcome-
4-Humility is the true path to wisdom-
5-Forgiveness is an act not an emotion-

STRANGE THOUGHT-You need to read the book "Anti Gravity".  You just can't put it down-

I'VE LEARNED-Receiving a great gift gives you a great feeling, but giving from the heart gives you a feeling that is even better-

DID YOU KNOW-It is believed that Shakespeare was forty six around the time the KIng James Version of the Bible was written.  In Psalms 46, the forty sixth word from the first word is shake, and the forty sixth word from the last word is spear-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When was Israel destroyed as a nation?
2-If the Jews don't have all the promised land of Canaan, when are they to get it?
3-What is the saddest book of the Bible?
4-How did the prophet Isaiah die?
5-Who was the worst Jewish king on record?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What judge wrung out a bowlful of water from a fleece in answer to prayer?
Gideon    Judges 6:38

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
38 And that is just what happened. When Gideon got up early the next morning and squeezed the wool, he got a full bowl of water from it.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Thankful man Father, I pray for a spirit of cooperation and eagerness to contribute to the needs of the whole body, so that Your Church is built not just with sweat, bricks, and mortar but with  love, integrity, care, and cooperative teamwork. Therefore we go forth in unity and purpose as we do our part in building each other up as we encourage others to use their God-given talents and acquired skills, all the while striving for unity in the faith. In our service we desire to please You even as we serve and strengthen one another. In the name of Jesus we go forth in faithful service. Amen.

LIVE SIMPLY!  LOVE GENEROUSLY!  CARE DEEPLY!  SPEAK KINDLY!  LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!!
