1-There is nothing new in this world that will make you happy-
2-The more you drift from God, the more appealing the things of this world
become-
3-The more you want God's love in your life, the less the things of this
world will appeal to you-
4-Happiness is not based on happenings-
5-Don't crave acceptance from people more than from God-

Father, help me not to be a lake but a river. Help me not to keep your
life giving love to myself, but give it away generously to others-

HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO
KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
