Wednesday January 30, 2008 thought for the day

"OH OH, I'M IN TROUBLE NOW"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Personal conflict can be an opportunity for personal growth-
2-Sin-breaking of God's law, missing the mark, rejecting God's will and purpose for your life-
3-You cannot remain neutral about Jesus-
4-Jesus was either who he said he was or he was a raving lunatic-
5-Parable-a story with a spiritual meaning in it-

Strange thought-it is easier to ask for forgiveness than to get permission-

I've learned-it takes a lot more creativity to find out what is right than what's wrong-

5 things I want to know
1-Have christians given up their responsibility to those in need to governmental agencies?
2-Do we see those in need as less fortunate rather than as brothers and sisters?
3-Why do we judge groups by their worst members?
4-Is it hard to show compassion?
5-What is meant by the phrase "praying through"?

Today's Scripture
“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight” (Ephesians 1:4).

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
