Monday September 29, 2008 thought for the day

"PORK BELLYS"
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Luck is when opportunity knocks and we answer-
2-Personality can open doors but only character can keep them open-
3-Nothing reveals your character so much as the jokes you laugh at-
4-If the character of a person is not clear to you, look at his friends-
5-The computer has changed people from being pen pals to e mails buddies-

Strange thought-by doing just a little bit each day, you can gradually let the task completely
overwhelm you-

I've learned-you can inherit wealth but never wisdom-

5 things I want to know
1-Why isn't the bible completely clear on the what, when, how and why of baptism?
2-Should Christians be social and political activists?
3-What is "religious indignation"?
4-When is enough enough?
5-How do we know with absolute certainty that our understanding of scripture is correct?

Scripture for today-Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Isaiah 43:18-19 (MSG)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
