AHH, MY FIRST CUP OF COFFEE!!!
Just a note to let you know that I will be off line until Monday September 22, 2008--see you then!!!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-It is not suffering that draws you closer to God but your Christian response to it-
2-Worship is the heartfelt response to the recognition of who God is-
3-In the chaos, tears and fears of your life, God is worthy of your praise and worship-
4-When you are lucky enough to have done well, it is your responsibility to send the
Elevator back down-
5-It is never crowed along the extra mile-
Strange thought-living on earth is expensive but it does include a free trip around the sun each
Year-
I've learned-when you have a wonderful wife, tell others---but be sure to tell her too-
5 things I want to know
1-What ever happened to the holy grail (cup)
2-How were the books of the bible chosen as canon?
3-Could there have been other letters (gospels) as important as those included in the new
Testament?
4-Could Mary Magdalene be considered an apostle?
5-Was there a gospel for the rest of the disciples (Thomas, Phillip,etc.)?
Scripture for today-“Whenever we have the opportunity, we have to do what is good for everyone, especially for the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10 GWT).
