Friday September 23, 2016 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Don't worry about tomorrow, you did that yesterday
2-If you must make a mistake, it will be to your credit if you make a new one each time-
3-Thank God for the work, thank God for the strength and health to do the work-
4-Do everything possible to reflect God's love to those around you-
5-God, how many miracles do you do that go unnoticed?

STRANGE THOUGHT-Teach a child to be polite and courteous in the home and when he grows up he will never be able to merge his car onto the freeway-

I'VE LEARNED-If we don't control our thoughts our thoughts will control us-

DID YOU KNOW-If a family had two or fewer servants in the United States in 1900, census takers recorded the family as lower middle class-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When is it easier for Christians to give thanks?
2-Are sincere Christians automatically living their life according to God's plan for their life?
3-Do most Christians allow Jesus to be their Lord?
4-Is it difficult for Christians to completely trust God?
5-Do Christians seek ecstasy or transformation?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Romans 9:33 "“I will put in Jerusalem a stone that causes people to stumble, a rock that makes them fall.
Anyone who trusts in him will never be disappointed.” This new testament verse is a quotation from what old testament book?
Answer for today      Isaiah

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY   1 Timothy 4:8-10
Training your body helps you in some ways, but serving God helps you in every way by bringing you blessings in this life and in the future life, too. What I say is true, and you should fully accept it. 10 This is why we work and struggle: We hope in the living God who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Jesus, as each day I learn more about living with you as my savior and Lord, keep me aware of who in my path needs to hear the life saving, life giving message of the salvation you offer-

I PRAY THAT GOD GIVES YOU STRENGTH IN YOUR STRUGGLE, PEACE IN YOUR PAIN, AND VICTORY IN YOUR VALLEY-
