Monday July 1, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life-
2-The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about-
3-Don't worry about people in your past.  There is a reason they didn't make it to your future-
4-The issue is not that you failed, but how you respond to your failure-
5-If you are going to control the negative thoughts in your mind, you've go to get away from negative people as much as you can-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Grandparents are like a piece of string, handy to have around and easily wrapped around the fingers of grandchildren-

I'VE LEARNED-If you want your dreams to come true, you must not oversleep-

DID YOU KNOW-There are seven species of bears-the brown bear, the polar bear, the sloth bear, the spectacled bear, the sun bear, the American black bear, and the Asian black bear-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did Zacchaeus offer a fourfold payback to anyone he had cheated?
2-Did Zacchaeus ever fulfill his vows of giving half his wealth to the poor ad making restitution for anything he had stolen?
3-Why was Jesus not more forceful in defending himself?
4-Why did Pilate not think Jesus was guilty of the Jewish charge against him?
5-Why was the crucifixion location called "the place of the skull"?

BIBLE TRIVIA-According to Ezekiel, what was the one kind of woman a priest could not marry?
Ahimelech    1 Samuel 21:1-6

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Acts 9:17-19
17 So Ananias went to the house of Judas. He laid his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus sent me. He is the one you saw on the road on your way here. He sent me so that you can see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately, something that looked like fish scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he was able to see again! Then Saul got up and was baptized. 19 After he ate some food, his strength returned.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, may my life be marked by faithfulness and integrity. I know that these character traits are not developed over a short period of time but over the duration of my life, most especially during the challenging times. Obedience does bring blessing and it does bring eternal reward. Help me not to become weary in doing good, for at the proper time that You have ordained, I will reap a harvest if I do not give up.  Amen.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD
