Thursday July 11, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-God has unlimited anytime minutes-
2-We do not need to seek to become unique for God has already made us that way-
3-People will forget what you said or did but they will never forget how you made them feel-
4-To know God's will, say "I will" to God-
5-Experience is that thing you have just after you need it-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege-

I'VE LEARNED-Your mind is like a parachute for it only works when it is open-

DID YOU KNOW-Mountain goats are not goats, they are small antelopes-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does the mustard seed grow into the largest of the garden plants?
2-What did Jesus mean by "birds of the air" in the mustard seed story?
3-What was the meaning of the mustard seed story?
4-Did repenting of sin and water baptism originate with John the Baptist?
5-Is there a difference in "Kingdom of God" and "Kingdom of Heaven"?

BIBLE TRIVIA-According to Hebrews who is the present high priest of Israel?
Yesterday's answer-Ananias   Acts 23:3

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY  Acts 10:5-8
Send some men now to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is also called Peter. He is staying with a man, also named Simon, who is a tanner and has a house beside the sea.” When the angel who spoke to Cornelius left, Cornelius called two of his servants and a soldier, a religious man who worked for him. Cornelius explained everything to them and sent them to Joppa.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Praying manFather, the alarms have rung loud and clear since Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden of Eden. The battlelines were drawn between the hosts of heaven and hell early on. We thank You for the spiritual armor listed in Ephesians 6 that equips us for battle, both offense and defense, as the flaming arrows of the devil are hurled in our direction. We thank You for Jesus, the captain of the spiritual army who sounds the warning throughout Scripture and through messengers of the gospel. Keep our ears tuned, our minds alert, and our hearts softened. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
