Monday October 14, 2013 thought for the day

WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE?

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Repentance is a course adjustment-
2-God is more than able to enable you-
3-Even men and women of great faith can lapse into great sin.  We must always be on guard-
4-The Edomites, a constant enemy of Jacob's descendants,  were descendants from Esau-
5-If you believe in the resurrection of Jesus, it should radically change your life-

STRANGE THOUGHT-A cell phone is a device asking for the right to interrupt your life no matter what you are doing-I

I'VE LEARNED-Don't worry that children don't always listen to you, worry that they are always watching you-

DID YOU KNOW-Only 30 percent of the famous Maryland blue crab are actually from Maryland; the rest are from North Carolina and Virginia-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is the human deterioration of aging a result of sin?
2-Since there was no death before Adam and Eve sinned, were their bodies indestructible or self repairing?
3-How long had Adam and Eve been alive in the Garden of Eden prior to their disobedience of God?
4-Did animal death predate Adam and Eve sin?
5-Could it be that God's original intention of man's dominion over the earth would ultimately extend to the entire physical universe?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who brought to Jesus the boy with loaves and fishes?
Today's answer-Andrew   John 6:8-9

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Acts 21:37-40
37 As the soldiers were about to take Paul into the army building, he spoke to the commander, “May I say something to you?”
The commander said, “Do you speak Greek? 38 I thought you were the Egyptian who started some trouble against the government not long ago and led four thousand killers out to the desert.”
39 Paul said, “No, I am a Jew from Tarsus in the country of Cilicia. I am a citizen of that important city. Please, let me speak to the people.”
40 The commander gave permission, so Paul stood on the steps and waved his hand to quiet the people. When there was silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, none of us knows the hour nor manner in which we will leave this life. Deaths result from accidents and natural disasters for both the godly and ungodly. But there is sweet assurance for those who remain when our loved ones who die before their prime are believers. It’s a fact that we will all one day perish so we want to be prepared for great and final event by repenting of our sins and living a life that properly prepares us for the final judgment. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD
