Wednesday November 18, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Easter is the rest of the Christmas story-
2-Leave what was and walk into what will be and feel the healing-
3-Forgiveness allows you to live in the future and not in the past-
4-To disagree is not to attack-
5-Victory over our problems often comes through our mouth-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Tight slacks-

I'VE LEARNED-Money talks, and it can confuse those who would otherwise judge fairly-

DID YOU KNOW-a cucumber consists of 96 percent water-(I STILL DON'T LIKE THEM!)

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can we know who God is without knowing who Jesus is?
2-Is God a person as we are a person or a spirit person?
3-Before Jesus came to the earth, was he a person as we are a person?
4-What is righteousness?
5-How often do we covet something and call it something else?

BIBLE TRIVIA-This new testament passage is from what old testament book-"The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies they footstool"-          Matthew 22:44
Answer for today     Psalm 110:1

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Luke 15:1-7
15 The tax collectors and sinners all came to listen to Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to complain: “Look, this man welcomes sinners and even eats with them.”
Then Jesus told them this story: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep but loses one of them. Then he will leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the open field and go out and look for the lost sheep until he finds it. And when he finds it, he happily puts it on his shoulders and goes home. He calls to his friends and neighbors and says, ‘Be happy with me because I found my lost sheep.’ In the same way, I tell you there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who changes his heart and life, than over ninety-nine good people who don’t need to change.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, there is gladness in our hearts when we express our praise to You. We don’t want a complaining heart that dwells on that which one does not have, but we desire a thankful heart that appreciates all that has been given to us. We have continuous evidence of Your grace in every area of our life including that of our fellow brothers and sisters who have forsaken the world and surrendered their all to You. May we be eager to reveal Your grace to others as You continue the lifelong work of replacing our old nature by transforming it into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May we be found faithful with steadfast purpose all the days of our life. Amen

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
