Wednesday November 25, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Love is not always blind, nor should it be-
2-God can use a set back to move you ahead-
3-More of Thee, less of me-
4-If we are going to be effective for God, we must have good self esteem-
5-To know is to be able to act-

STRANGE THOUGHT-It is better to be in a hole than to be in a rut-

I'VE LEARNED-Seek respect rather than popularity, quality rather than luxury-

DID YOU KNOW-More than a third of all pineapples come from Hawaii-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How do I know I am led by the Spirit of God and not something else?
2-What does the Bible mean saying "The days are evil"?
3-How does God lead us today?
4-What is the most difficult thing in following Jesus?
5-Does the blood of Jesus or the person of the Holy Spirit free me from sin?

BIBLE TRIVIA-This new testament passage is from what old testament book-"For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall be one flesh:       Mark 10:7-8
Answer for today    Genesis 2:24

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY   LUKE 16:9-12

“I tell you, make friends for yourselves using worldly riches so that when those riches are gone, you will be welcomed in those homes that continue forever. 10 Whoever can be trusted with a little can also be trusted with a lot, and whoever is dishonest with a little is dishonest with a lot. 11 If you cannot be trusted with worldly riches, then who will trust you with true riches? 12 And if you cannot be trusted with things that belong to someone else, who will give you things of your own?

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Jesus, just like the shepherd willingly lays his life down for his sheep, You also willingly laid down Your life for us. You took on our adversary, the devil, who takes people captive for his own diabolical plans. You struck down the devil’s scheme to enslave and devour us, and his plan for death and the grave. Instead You became to the doorway to the Father when You told the disciples, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by me.” We thank You for being the door to our eternal salvation, when You laid down Your life for us, through Your shed blood. Amen.

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
