Wednesday June 18, 2008 thought for the day

"YOUNG MAN IN TRAINING"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-You deserve what you tolerate-
2-Inherited wealth is food stamps for the rich-
3-Money does not make you rich-
4-When times are at their worst people are often at their best-
5-The darkest hour is the hour just before dawn-

Strange thought-you can buy a doctor's time but not good health-

I've learned-you should treasure your children for what they are, not for what you want them to be-

5 things I want to know
1-If God is spirit, how can he also be father?
2-Why do we have trouble forgiving ourselves?
3-Why did Jesus often speak in unclear meaning to the people?
4-Have we complicated the act of being "saved"?
5-Why do Christians often act like they have perfect understanding of scripture?

Scripture for today-“Whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is kind, if there is any virtue, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
