Sunday July 27, 2008 thought for the day-from jasper

REMEMBERING OUR SOLDIERS
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Most people do not lack for things but they do lust for things-
2-The secret to wealth-knowing how to manage your finances when you have very little-
3-If you are not content with a little you will not be content with more-
4-Just because you have less money doesn't mean you are worth less-
5-The monied people are not necessarily the blessed of God-

Strange thought-seat belts are not as confining as wheelchairs-

I've learned-regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow are twin thieves that rob us of the
moment-

5 things I want to know
1-Does God demand repentance for atonement?
2-If "thou shall not kill" is valid why did God demand the Israelites kill their enemy's?
3-Does God punish the sins of the fathers to the 3rd and 4th generations?
4-If God is a spirit, how can an aroma of an offering be pleasing to him?
5-Is God masculine?

Scripture for today-Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. . . . Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you” (Romans 12:2 MSG).

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
