Saturday August 23, 2008 thought for the day

DO WE EVER WEAR A FACE MASK??
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-When /god gives an assignment He also gives the skills-
2-Stand at the intersection of your affections and successes and you'll find your uniqueness-
3-You are not God's solution to society but a solution in society-
4-Don't worry about skills you don't have and don't covet strengths others do have-
5-You cannot be anything you want to be but you can be everything God wants you to be-

Strange thought-one millionth of a mouthwash=one microscope

I've learned-when visiting my parents it takes about 5 seconds to say "hello!" and about 30 minutes to
say goodbye-

5 things I want to know
1-If Mary was 'highly favored' by God, shouldn't we protestants show her more adoration?
2-Why don't we know more about Jesus's father Joseph?
3-After starting his ministry, did Jesus ever come back to visit or stay with his mother Mary?
4-Does God speak to us today in anyway but scripture?
5-When searching scripture for an answer to a situation, how do we know when we have found it?

Scripture for today-"Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you” (Hebrews 13:17 NIV).

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
