Sunday August 3, 2008 thought for the day

Funny! Funny! Funny!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Don't throw away the old bucket until you know whether the new one will hold water-
2-Every seller praises his wares-
3-Everyone is kneaded from the same dough but not all are baked in the same oven-
4-Flattery makes friends and truth sometimes makes enemies-
5-When you can't endure the bad you won't appreciate the good-

Strange thought-a kind and gentle thought to indicate stupidity-
His belt doesn't go through all the hoops

I've learned-don't expect life's very best if you aren't giving it your vert best-

5 things I want to know
1-Since Jesus was divine did he need parenting by his mother and father?
2-How can you pray without ceasing?
3-Do great periods of prayer always precede great revivals?
4-How do you know when you've prayed enough?
5-Does praise remove your problems?

Scripture for today-A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 (NIV)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
