Friday August 1, 2008 thought for the day

THIS IS A SERIOUS GRILLER

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-A fool shows his annoyance at once but a prudent man overlooks insults-
2-A half truth is a whole lie-
3-A joke driven too far brings home hate-
4-One is not honest just because they never had a chance to lie-
5-You are old when your regrets take the place of your dreams-

Strange thought-A fool who can keep quiet is counted among the wise-

I've learned-you never get rewarded for the things you intend to do-

5 things I want to know
1-Could the old testament accounts of killing enemies be accurate?
2-What is the difference in killing and murder?
3-Why is the old testament so filled with accounts of mass killings?
4-Why were "lots cast" to determine God's will?
5-Does God only give good things?

Scripture for today-When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” John 5:6 (NIV)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
