Friday October 30, 2009 thought for the day

A PRETTY FALL SCENE

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Anger will eventually turn into self pity-
2-Low self esteem and arrogant pride will always go hand in hand-
3-We really don't know what kind of people we are until our cup spills over-
4-Children are like wet cement-whatever falls on them leaves an impression-
5-The hours that make us happy make us wise-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If you ate pasta and anti pasta, would you still be hungry?

I'VE LEARNED-When we forget ourselves we do things that are remembered-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Was Jesus' birthplace an animal shelter or a cave?
2-Why don't we know the exact day or year of Jesus' birth?
3-Why was 12/25 chosen as Christmas by one group of Christians and 1/6 by another group?
4-At Jesus's birth, were the sheep on the hillside with the shepherds ordinary sheep or special sheep belonging to the temple for sacrifices?
5-Was the place where the holy family stayed in Bethlehem a public building or a private home guest room?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What is the first purchase of land in the bible?
Yesterday's answer-"Be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28)

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 93
1 The Lord is king. He is clothed in majesty. The Lord is clothed in majesty and armed with strength. The world is set, and it cannot be moved.
2 Lord, your kingdom was set up long ago; you are everlasting.
3 Lord, the seas raise, the seas raise their voice. The seas raise up their pounding waves.
4 The sound of the water is loud; the ocean waves are powerful, but the Lord above is much greater.
5 Lord, your laws will stand forever. Your Temple will be holy forevermore.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
