1-You must train your mind to look beyond obstacles, disappointments, setbacks and even failures-
2-A smile is the lighting system of the face and the heating system of the heart-
3-Prayer can lift you up on the wings of God's spirit to where you can see the big picture more clearly-
4-God can give you  solutions to problems that loom as large as mountains and cause them to melt away-
5-It is better to stay healthy than to have been healed-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Mental floss prevents truth decay-
I'VE LEARNED-Americans don't fight because they hate what is in front of them, but because of what is behind them-
DID YOU KNOW-Rudyard Kipling, living in Vermont in the 1890's, invented the game of snow golf.  He painted his golf balls red so he could locate them in the snow-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Since the Holy Spirit is in the world now, is heaven minus one part of the trinity?
2-How is it possible to "love your enemies, do good to them who hate you, bless them who curse you and pray for them who persecute you" as Jesus commanded?
3-What happens when you treat others the way you want them to treat you.
4-Why does God allow blessings on evil people?
5-What credit do you get for loving those who love you?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    Matthew 25:1-13

A Story About Ten Bridesmaids

1 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to wait for the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.3 The five foolish bridesmaids took their lamps, but they did not take more oil for the lamps to burn.4 The wise bridesmaids took their lamps and more oil in jars. 5Because the bridegroom was late, they became sleepy and went to sleep.
6 "At midnight someone cried out, 'The bridegroom is coming! Come and meet him!' 7 Then all the bridesmaids woke up and got their lamps ready.8 But the foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.' 9 The wise bridesmaids answered, 'No, the oil we have might not be enough for all of us. Go to the people who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
10 "So while the five foolish bridesmaids went to buy oil, the bridegroom came. The bridesmaids who were ready went in with the bridegroom to the wedding feast. Then the door was closed and locked.
11 "Later the others came back and said, 'Sir, sir, open the door to let us in.' 12 But the bridegroom answered, 'I tell you the truth, I don't want to know you.'
13 "So always be ready, because you don't know the day or the hour the Son of Man will come.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Jesus, You spoke through the angels, the prophets, the disciples, the apostles and You speak through the Scriptures and godly messengers today.  Even as the apostle Paul declared, “Today is the day of salvation” and we also apply that same message today to our generation.  May Your Spirit speak to our hearts about not ignoring or delaying life’s most important decision.  You’ve not told us that we have to clean up our act before we can come to You.  That’s because You know it’s impossible for us to do so.  It is only by knowing You personally through salvation that we can be free of the sins that so easily entangle our lives.  It is after we receive Your forgiveness that the joyful journey of our salvation begins.  For those of us who have received this wonderful gift we rejoice in the God of our salvation, for God the Lord is our strength.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
