Tuesday August 7, 2012 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Faith in Jesus is the one condition to be a part of God's family-
2-There is no such thing as a "small act of kindness"-
3-God will take you through the the twists and turns if you stay on the straight and narrow-
4-To comprehend a person's life it is necessary to know not merely what he does but also what he purposely leaves undone-
5-Some people own things and some people's things own them-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The brain is the most outstanding organ.  It works 24/7/365 right from birth till you fall in love-

I'VE LEARNED-I still have a lot to learn-

DID YOU KNOW-An American football has four seams-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW-
1-If sometimes it is okay to break the  law against working on the sabbath, who decides what it acceptable and what isn't?
2-The term "Son of God" refers to Jesus, but what does it mean?
3-How could God have a distinct deity (Jesus) from himself as God?
4-What is the most proper term we should use in referring to Jesus-Son or God, Son of Man, Christ, Savior, Emmanuel, etc?
5-Is it okay to do good on the Sabbath even if it requires work?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What evil king of Judah was killed by his servants?
Yesterday's answer-Joab  2 Samuel 3:27

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY     Matthew 24:36-41
36 "No one knows when that day or time will be, not the angels in heaven, not even the Son.[a] Only the Father knows. 37 When the Son of Man comes, it will be like what happened during Noah's time.38 In those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving their children to be married, until the day Noah entered the boat.39 They knew nothing about what was happening until the flood came and destroyed them. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes.40 Two men will be in the field. One will be taken, and the other will be left. 41Two women will be grinding grain with a mill.[b] One will be taken, and the other will be left.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
