Tuesday April 1, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Do you want to know who you are?  Don't ask, act!  Action will delineate and define you-
2-It is in our lives and not our words that our religion will be read-
3-Never spend your money before you earn it-
4-Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal.  Yet nothing can help the one with the wrong mental attitude-
5-"We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal"-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If you are up to it you might try making up a lists of the many ways up is used.  It will take up a lot of your time but if you don't give up you may wind up with a long list-

I'VE LEARNED-Give because there is a need not because you have extra-

DID YOU KNOW-The average person will spend two weeks over their lifetime waiting for the traffic lights to change

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Should Christians today live by the living instructions God gave to Moses for his people?
2-How and when did Moses write down all the detailed instructions for living that God gave him-
3-No women were included in all the priestly leadership details that God gave to Moses.  Was this on purpose and why were they excluded?
4-When did God give permission for women to be in religious leadership positions?
5-Why were "burnt offerings" pleasing to God?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Whom did God ask?-"I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me?"
Answer for today    Jeremiah     32:26-27

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled-

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thankful man
Father, shape my thinking into that which will bring about growth and conformity to Your will. Teach me to think not in accord with my own human instincts but with the truth as it is revealed in Your Word. It will keep me from lusting after deadly forbidden fruit if I plant myself into that which is holy and righteous. As the world continues to slide into decadence help me to delve deeper into Your Word and faithfully commune with You so that my heart does not grow cold or indifferent. Nor will I be drawn into every kind of impurity with a continual lust for more.  I want to stand firm to the end so that I am saved from this world of sin and influence others to live a godly life. Through Christ’s strength and my prayerful resolve I will remain faithful.  Amen.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING!
