Christmas day Wednesday January 1, 2014

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Humility is the mark of a true winner-
2-You can't trust your feelings to determine your actions-
3-God wants you more than your money-
4-If you live in front of Jesus here you will be ready to stand in front of him there-
5-What would you do with the rest of your life if you weren't afraid?

STRANGE THOUGHT-The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with-

I'VE LEARNED-It is wise to learn from experience.  It is wiser to learn from the experience of others-

DID YOU KNOW-There are more than 150 breeds of horses in the world

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-If Jonah was swallowed by a big fish, how could he have survived the stomach acid, not be drowned by seawater, or pass out from lack of oxygen?
2-Is it possible the great fish that swallowed Jonah did not dive back into the sea for the three days Jonah was inside of it?
3-Wouldn't the great fish that swallowed Jonah have needed to continually eat to stay alive?
4-If Jonah did actually survive being swallowed by a big fish, what would his body have looked alike when he was vomited out of the creature?
5-Why would the Assyrians even belive a Jewish prophet?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who cursed a fig tree for not bearing fruit?
Answer for today    Jesus  mark 11:21

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY     Psalm 119:18
18 Open my eyes to see
    The miracles in your teachings.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful man Father, we thank You for Jesus who is the visible form of the One who descended from heaven and presented hope, freedom, truth, love, an grace. He was the very essence of the Word of God. The wait for Messiah spanned some 4000 years and many prophets foretold His coming yet never lived to see it fulfilled. We’re glad to be living at a time when we greatly benefit from the fulfilled prophecy of Christ being born to a virgin, living among us, dying for our sins, rising from the dead and ascending into heaven. We now anticipate His second coming when He will gather the redeemed in the air forevermore to reign in His kingdom where there will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace. There’s no better place for the believer to hang his hat and store his heart’s treasures, those that have lasting, eternal value. Amen.

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!!
