Sunday January 19, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Even in times of loss there are lessons to learn-
2-The only thing that comes to us without effort is old age-
3-The choices we make in the prime of life will follow us in the twilight years-
4-God blesses people who bless others-
5-Wise counsel to the younger is the duty of the  older-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Any system that depends on human reliability is unreliable-

I'VE LEARNED-I have three sizes of clothes in my closet, two of which I will never wear-

DID YOU KNOW-There have been more than 1500 documented sightings of Bigfoot since 1958-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why is the Ark described as the Lord's chariot complete with gold cherubim's whose wings are stretched out over the ark?
2-Did Ezekiel actually see God himself?
3-Why did God give Ezekiel a scroll eating experience?
4-Why did and how could Ezekiel lie on his left side for 390 days and on his right side for 40 days?
5-What was the new kind of faith called Kabbalh?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What epistle says that blessing and cursing should not come out of the same mouth?
Answer for today   James 3:10

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    Psalm 46:10
God says, “Be still and know that I am God.
    I will be praised in all the nations;
I will be praised throughout the earth.”

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful man Father, we want to be still and listen to Your still small voice, whether You’re speaking directly to our spirit or speaking to us through Your holy Word. At times You speak to us through song, through nature, through other believers and through the unfolding of  major and minor events in our lives. As You speak to us, we want to be careful and listen to Your voice so that we do not harden our hearts. Instead we want You to fulfill in us all Your purposes for our growth and for Your glory. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART.....PEACE IN YOUR SOUL.....AND JOY IN YOUR LIFE.....ALWAYS!!!
