Sunday January 12, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail-
2-We all can do things we don't even know we can do-
3-Thinking is easy, acting is difficult-
4-The best way to cheer up yourself is to cheer up someone else-
5-One who cares is one who listens-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The primary function of the design engineer is to make things difficult for the manufacturer and impossible for the serviceman-

I'VE LEARNED-The things I used to care to do, I no longer care to do, but I really do care that I don't care to do them anymore-

DID YOU KNOW-A rhinoceros' horn is made of compacted hair-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Could Gomer have been one of the temple prostitutes?
2-Why would Hosea have been willing to marry Gomer?
3-Why are the prophetic books of the old testament called either major or minor prophets?
4-Why would Gomer have been willing to marry Hosea?
5-Was there any love in the Hosea/Gomer marriage?

BIBLE TRIVIA-According to Paul, who was made a curse for our sins?
Answer for today   Christ  Galatians 3:13

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    2 Chronicles 30:18-19
Lord, you are good. You are the Lord, the God of our ancestors. Please forgive all those who try to obey you.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful man  Father, we kneel before You, in whom all heaven and earth derives its name and pray that out of Your glorious riches we, as the body of Christ, will be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in our inner being. Unite us in spirit and strengthen us in purpose as we walk together upholding, defending, and proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus Christ who saves to the uttermost. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are undergoing persecution because of their uncompromising belief. Remind us often, since we can’t see them, so that we support them in prayer and thought. When we all get to heaven what a time of rejoicing that will be when we see Jesus, when we unite with our brothers and sisters from every generation,  from every tribe and nation, from every color and race, and from every tongue and dialect. It will be an experience beyond description so fill us with anticipation for later and anchor us through Jesus Christ for now as we await that blessed day of eternal hope. We pray in the precious name of Jesus.  Amen.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART.....PEACE IN YOUR SOUL.....AND JOY IN YOUR LIFE.....ALWAYS!!!
